It was cold and raining here in Laguna when I woke up this morning. This is actually unusual since it's been very sunny all week long. So, I chose this sweater from our closet and paired it up with an animal printed leggings and my very comfortable Toms shoes.
The shoes went well with my Orange satchel bag and ODM watch. I also love my sister's University bangle that matches the sweater. :)
My cousins and I planned this movie date during mom's birthday - August of this year. We were very excited to watch the sequel of Taken together as a family after having a good time watching it some time last year. Finally, the most awaited family bonding came true after 3 long weeks of waiting. :)
And since I came from work today and just headed straight to the cinema, I wanted to be as formal in my getup as I can be. So, I wore this beautiful floral top matched with our old white pants and a lovely satchel bag.
Top view so my legs were short - sorry if I had to explain that :))
More pictures. So sad our other cousins weren't able to join us :(
There was a joke! After TAKEN, let's go EATEN haha! Did you guys get that? :))
Then we went for a late lunch and an early dinner :)

This date is worth a second round! Love doing it over and over again.
I've always wanted to wear this gorgeous blazer to work. The collar, as you can see, is just so intimidating thus preventing me to do so. Today, I decided to pay no attention to that feeling and just follow my heart.
Happy weekend!

Every so often, our company conducts values sessions and team building to promote bonds that would be helpful in the work place. Values session is a venue where the most important principles and standards of the company are being discussed with the newly hired employees so they can use them as guidelines on how they will move inside the organization; hence, helping them go up the corporate ladder. Team building, on the other hand, is a common activity where we strengthen relationships, teamwork, trust and competitiveness of a group. These two are very vital so one can perform well individually as well as in a group.
Last October 6, our accounting department organized an activity in preparation for their upcoming stressful audit. The venue was in Blusyl Resort, Calamba, Laguna. We (Rev and I) were asked to join them to help and also to observe. We were also given assignments as HRs and were requested to prepare team building games as well.
We started our activity with an ice breaker. Had them play my favorite ice breaker game – “Human Bingo”. :) the idea is for them to talk to each other and know them more by looking for someone who matches the qualities in each square of the bingo card.
Sample Bingo card. Just change some items and think of
something that is more fit for the group.
They were
broken into groups after. The new ones had values session while the older ones
were discussing about their upcoming audit.
Rev and I
while waiting for them to finish their discussions.
We played
another game after lunch. The name of the game was “See Run Do”. The mechanics:
Each team has one seer, one runner, and all others will be the doers. They have
to make a replica of the pattern I made using the same materials I gave them.
Only the seer can see the pattern. He/she should describe it to the runner who
in turn should describe it to the doers who will make a replica of the pattern.
The idea is that the doers should be able to duplicate the model without seeing
it and will only base their work on how the pattern was described to them.
Here's how they've done it :)
Venue photos. The venue can accommodate 50 pax. We were 74 all in all

October 14, 2012 marks the 5th year of our relationship as boyfriend - girlfriend. God has been so faithful and loving that we can't thank him enough for every big and little thing he's done in our lives. By God's grace and guidance through our parents, Teroy and I have both grown into mature people who now know and understand that making God the center of our lives and relationship is the key and nothing else.
I want to share with you, guys, how we celebrated our 5th year anniversary. It was simple yet very, very special.
The Spa, Alabang Town Center. We actually didn't plan a spa date. But when we arrived at ATC, the movie we wanted to watch (Taken 2) has already started and dinner would be too early of course. So we decided to take a walk. We passed by The Spa and got a massage. We both had Aroma Scalp and Shoulder massage.
Outback, ATC. After the movie, we headed straight to Outback for dinner. It was our first time. We had Kookamaroo wings for appetizer, a half slab Baby Back ribs, one pasta dish, one steak dish with mashed potato and veggies as side dish. I also had Mango juice as usual :) The people were so pleasant and the quality of food was really great.
I thank the Lord that He has given me a man like Teroy. I can see God moving in his life, making him grow closer and deeper into His word, and preparing him for His future and perfect plans. Words are not enough to express how grateful and blessed I am to be part of this man's life and I bring praise and glory to Jesus, my Lord and Savior.
And by the way, our anniversary was just one of the two reasons to celebrate. The second is because God has finally given Teroy a job. Thank you, Lord!
